Made for real work
A clear path from recording to finished work.
Clinical training sessions, research interviews, case discussions and recorded consultations pile up faster than anyone can review them. BriefVox turns those recordings into editable, searchable transcripts with speaker labels — so the knowledge in them is actually usable.
From recording to reviewable text
Upload the audio or video and BriefVox returns a timestamped transcript with speakers separated where the recording allows. Review it in the synced editor — click a sentence to hear that moment — correct terminology, and export a clean DOCX or TXT.
Privacy-minded by design
Recordings in healthcare contexts are sensitive. Files are stored in encrypted storage, staff have no routine access to recording content, and the uploaded source audio is automatically deleted 3 days after upload — only the transcript you keep remains. You can also delete the source file or the whole transcript manually at any time.
Your responsibility for patient data
You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to record and process any personal or special-category data in your recordings, and for your organisation's policies. For business use, a Data Processing Agreement is available — see our DPA and privacy documents.

Good to know
Answers before you begin.
Can I transcribe recorded consultations or training sessions?+
Yes, provided you have the right and a lawful basis to record and process them. Upload the file and you get an editable transcript with speaker labels.
How is the recording protected?+
Files are stored in encrypted storage with access via expiring links, staff have no routine access to content, and the source audio is auto-deleted 3 days after upload.
Does it handle medical terminology?+
The transcript is fully editable — review it in the synced editor and correct specialist terms before exporting. Accuracy depends on audio quality.
Can I export the transcript for records or analysis?+
Yes. Export to DOCX or TXT with speakers and timestamps, or SRT/VTT if you need subtitles for training video.
Do you offer a DPA for organisations?+
Yes. A Data Processing Agreement is available for business customers — see the DPA page in our legal section.
