And yet, they're just a computer company. They're just like everyone else. They have the same access to the same talent, the same agencies, the same consultants, the same media.

Then why is it that they seem to have something different? Why is it that Martin Luther King led the Civil Rights Movement?

Speaker

He wasn't the only man who suffered in a pre-civil rights America. And he certainly wasn't the only great orator of the day. Why him?

And why is it that the Wright Brothers were able to figure out controlled, powered, manned flight when other teams were better funded?

Questions

What people usually check before uploading

Can I transcribe Zoom, Teams or Google Meet recordings?

Yes. Export the recording from Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, then upload the file to BriefVox. MP4 and M4A files from those platforms work out of the box.

What audio and video formats can I upload?

BriefVox accepts MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, WebM, OPUS, AAC and most other common audio and video formats. YouTube links work too — just paste the URL.

How accurate is the transcription?

Accuracy depends on audio quality, background noise, accents and speaker overlap. Clear recordings are usually much easier to transcribe, and the built-in editor lets you fix anything that needs correction.

How long does transcription take?

Processing time depends on file length, queue and audio quality. Short files can finish quickly, while longer recordings show progress in your dashboard.

Can I use YouTube links?

Yes, if you have the right to process that material. Paste the YouTube URL directly — no download needed. The upload flow records your confirmation.

Can I edit the transcript?

Yes. The editor is synced with audio, so clicking any segment jumps to the exact moment in the recording. You can fix wording, rename speakers and clean up the text without leaving BriefVox.

Can I export subtitles?

Yes. You can export SRT and VTT subtitle files ready for YouTube, video editors and streaming platforms. TXT and DOCX are also available for documents and notes.

Does BriefVox identify real people?

No. BriefVox separates speakers into generic labels such as Speaker 1 and Speaker 2. It does not identify or name real individuals. You can rename labels yourself in the editor.

Do I need a credit card for the Free plan?

No. The free account gives you 10 minutes every month with no card required and no automatic payment. You only pay if you choose a package or subscription.

How do AI Tokens work?

AI Tokens are credits used to create AI Notes, summaries, translations and reports. You always see the cost before generation.
