Riverside alternative
A Riverside alternative for what happens after recording
BriefVox does not record interviews. It takes the recording you already have and turns it into text, notes and captioned clips. Check Riverside's site for their current features.

The idea is to make the first minute easier to follow.
Then the important decision is easy to find again.

Decision: keep every useful moment easy to return to.
Made for real work
A clear path from recording to finished work.
Recording platforms solve the hardest part of remote production: getting clean, separate, high-quality tracks out of a conversation that happened over the internet. BriefVox does not compete with that. It picks up at the next step, when the file exists and somebody has to turn it into something people will actually read or watch.
From recording to transcript
Upload the audio or video and get a speaker-labelled transcript with timestamps, editable in a player-synced view. Export to TXT, DOCX, SRT or VTT for show notes, articles or subtitles.
From transcript to published work
AI Notes turn one episode into a summary, chapters with timestamps, key quotes or a creator pack — the material that usually eats an afternoon after every recording.
From episode to clips
Cut the moments you want wherever you like, then caption them here: word-level timing, 26 styles and a burned-in MP4 sized for vertical, square or widescreen.
