Accuracy, languages and the Fast mode
Choose Accurate or Fast, pick the language, and get the best result from your audio.
Updated October 2, 2026
BriefVox can transcribe about 100 spoken languages. You can pick the language or let BriefVox detect it; picking it yourself is more reliable for short or mixed-language recordings.
Two modes
- Accurate — best quality, recommended for anything important. Charges the full length of the file.
- Fast — quicker, with a possible drop in quality. Charges 75% of the file's minutes.
Getting the best result
- Record close to the microphone and avoid background music.
- Avoid people talking over each other.
- Upload the original file rather than a compressed copy.
Accuracy always depends on the recording. We publish how we measure it, including the languages and test sets, on the accuracy page. No service can guarantee a perfect transcript, so review important text before you use it.
